LWC By Law’s

We stand on the doctrine of Jesus Christ given to His chosen apostles.

Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ is who the Holy Bible says He is. We believe that Jesus Christ is the source of all life. Jesus Christ gives the water of life that every soul needs (John 4:14). We will not tolerate false doctrine. The Word of God is not for sale; it is a free gift to all. Salvation comes only through Jesus Christ for all who repent and believe in Him. Romans 10:13 says, “For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

The One True GOD

God the Father and God the Son are one. “I and My Father are one.” (John 10:30) The fullness of the Holy Spirit, who is God, dwelt in Jesus Christ, one in perfect unity. Just as the day has three parts—morning, afternoon, and evening, and yet is still one day, likewise, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are ONE.

Union in Community

God is in the business of restoring and bringing all good things together in unity. As believers, we are called to walk in love, peace, and harmony with one another, reflecting His nature. We will not tolerate gossip or division among us, for these things hinder the work of God and damage the body of Christ. As it is written: “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!” (Psalm 133:1, NKJV)

Holy Bible

“All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.” (2 Timothy 3:16-17, NKJV)

The Word of God should never be changed or tampered with (Galatians 1:8), as it can ruin the life of someone who is seeking the truth that sets them free (John 8:32). We will not tolerate the Word of God, the Holy Bible, being mistreated in the church or used out of context.

Honoring God

We honor and love God and one another, as Jesus Christ commanded us (Matthew 22:36-40). In doing this, we glorify our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Love is the foundation of our faith, guiding how we speak, act, and serve both God and people. We strive to reflect Christ’s compassion, humility, and truth in all we do, building a community where His light shines brightly. Through our love and unity, we bear witness to the transforming power of the Gospel and draw others to Him. As it is written: “By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.” (John 13:35, NKJV)

Body of Christ

Anyone who desires to join or become an active member of the Body of Christ, which is the body of believers (the Church), must repent of their sins and both practice and profess their faith in Jesus Christ. To those who do not yet know the Lord, or who are visiting, or whom we are attempting to reach, we will show love, kindness, and compassion, just as Jesus loves and has compassion on all of us. We must be patient with one another.

Men serving at L.W.C

If any man is interested in serving at LifeWater Church and is a married man, he must understand that if he is mistreating his family or spouse, physically, mentally, or emotionally, he cannot, by any means, serve at LifeWater Church. For the men who desire to be teachers at LWC, you must live a life that is holy and pleasing unto the Lord. If you cannot lead your family in your own household, you cannot lead or teach at LifeWater Church. “For if a man does not know how to rule his own house, how will he take care of the church of God?” (1 Timothy 3:5, NKJV)

Meetings between members of the opposite sex should never take place alone unless a spouse or other witnesses are present. We will not give room to the devil in this ministry.

New Covenant

The New Covenant is the promise that God makes with mankind that He will forgive sin and restore communion with those whose hearts believe in His Son, Jesus Christ. Jesus is the mediator of the New Covenant, and His death on the cross is the basis of the promise that establishes this covenant. All members of LWC must believe that we are living under the New Covenant.

“And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to the disciples and said, ‘Take, eat; this is My body.’ Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, ‘Drink from it, all of you. For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.’” (Matthew 26:26-28, NKJV)

Membership

Anyone who wants to become an active member of, or serve in any capacity at, LifeWater Church and is actively practicing any form of the occult, New Age practices, using sage or crystal rocks for power or good luck, practicing any form of magic (whether black or white magic), Wicca, paganism, folk magic, witchcraft, voodoo, Santería, sorcery, divination, Freemasonry, or anything else produced, promoted, or practiced by Satan’s kingdom of darkness—including building altars to spirits, demons, or false gods, yoga and Eastern meditation, idol worship, Islam, or any other false cult or religion, cannot serve or become a member at LifeWater Church in any capacity.

You are welcome to repent and renounce Satan, the occult, the kingdom of darkness, and everything stated above, and to receive freedom and restoration from all forms of spiritual bondage. Once you have grown in Jesus Christ—the True Light of the World—and have pledged your allegiance to God the Father (Yah) and Jesus Christ (Yahshua), then you may become a member and serve at LifeWater Church.

The Importance of Church Membership

At LifeWater Church, we believe that becoming a member is more than simply joining a group, it is answering God’s call to belong, to grow, and to serve in His Kingdom. Membership is an important step of commitment and accountability, where believers unite as one body to worship God, support one another, and advance the Gospel together.

God designed the Church as a family where each member has a unique purpose and role. As the Apostle Paul wrote, “For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another.” (Romans 12:4-5, NKJV)

Being a member of LifeWater Church means being part of a spiritual community where we grow deeper in faith, discover our gifts, and serve others with love and humility. It is a place to be encouraged, equipped, and empowered to fulfill God’s calling on our lives. Together, we stand firm in sound doctrine, share the hope of Jesus Christ, and shine His light into a world in need.

At LifeWater Church, you are not just attending, you belong.
